If you find yourself in a difficult place in life, perhaps feeling anxious or low, or struggling with intrusive memories, self-esteem or relationships, you are not alone. You may be unsure why you are finding things difficult or how to make any changes.
I offer online and in person therapy in London (Clapham), supporting individuals to make sense of their difficulties, and move closer towards the life they want to be living.
I specialise in working with adults who have experienced distressing or traumatic life events. Particularly when these events have caused current difficulties with self-esteem, intense emotions, flashbacks (feeling like you’re back in the past), or in relationships with others. I am a Highly Specialised Clinical Psychologist and accredited EMDR practitioner, and have over eight years experience working with a range of difficulties.
My approach
I am compassionate, non-judgemental and down to earth. I work with people to understand what they want to get out of therapy, and to make sense of their struggles. As a clinical psychologist trained in multiple therapies, I am able to use different approaches depending on needs and goals. I regularly draw upon the following therapies: Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Analytical-Informed Therapy (CAT), and Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT). I will discuss therapy options with you, to allow us to think together about what will be most beneficial.
My Training
I completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at The University of Southampton, and am therefore a HCPC registered psychologist (PYL040204). I have also completed additional training:
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) with EMDR Academy
Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) with Dr Chris Ions
ACAT: Two Day Introduction to Cognitive Analytical Therapy (CAT)
Mentalisation-Based Treatment (MBT) Practitioner with Anna Freud Centre
Compassionate Mind Training with Dr Deborah Lee
BSc Psychology (Hons) at University of Southampton
Fees
I know therapy is a big commitment, and it's important to feel connected within the therapeutic relationship. During this call, I will share details about how I work and ask you to briefly describe the difficulties bringing you to therapy. Please arrange this by clicking below. If you decided that you wanted to work together, my fees are:
Initial Assessment (50 minutes): £135
Therapy sessions (50 minutes): £135
I am registered with a number of insurers including BUPA, WPA, and Aviva.
