If you find yourself in a difficult place in life, you don’t have to work through it alone.

I specialise in working with adults who have lived through difficult or traumatic life events. These events can show up in the present in a number of ways, such as struggling with intense emotions, feeling disconnected, difficulties in relationships, physical symptoms or pain, patterns that keep repeating, low self-esteem, or a sense of feeling “stuck” in the past.

I am passionate about creating a therapeutic space that allows for healing on emotional and bodily levels, not just within the mind. I therefore primarily offer Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), which complement one another. Both therapies are embodied approaches which process past experiences, so healing and lasting change can emerge.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Moments of pain and difficulties are often invitations from within, parts of us asking to be heard, understood, and helped.

IFS is a way to help you to get to know the inner parts within you, including parts that have taken on protective roles or parts that hold deep emotion and pain. All parts are met with understanding and compassion, and all parts are welcome within our work. Meeting parts with this deep curiosity and kindness, rather than trying to get rid of or silence them, can help them to unburden and heal.

This model is respectful, non-pathologising, and transformative.
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Memories that weren’t fully processed at the time, often because there was too much overwhelm around when they happened, can continue to influence how you feel, respond, and relate to yourself and/or others in the present. EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that helps both the brain and the body to reprocess these memories, so the emotional intensity around them reduces. As this happens, their influence on everyday life softens, creating more space for healing and choice.

EMDR can be especially helpful when you feel “stuck” in the past or when emotional reactions don’t seem to match the current situation.

Fees
I know therapy is a big commitment and feeling connected within the therapeutic relationship is essential. As such, I offer a free informal 10-minute phone call. During this conversation, I will share details about how I work and try to understand what you hope to achieve through therapy. This will allow us to determine whether we could work well together, prior to any commitment. Please arrange this by clicking below.
If we decided to work together, my fees are:
Initial Assessment (50 minutes): £150
Therapy sessions (50 minutes): £150
